Meet Morning Host

Gary “G-Man” Michaels!

Monday-Friday  6:00am-12:00pm

I am from Utah and grew up in a radio family, so I guess you could say I have been in radio my whole life. My wife says radio is in my DNA!

When I am not working I’m spending time with my awesome family. I have 5 kids. YES, that’s a lot. There’s always a lot going on at my house! Thank goodness for my great wife, Kristine. She works full time as a nurse and she is the absolute best.

I really love to cook, especially on my Traeger grill. Some of the things I enjoy: playing golf, hockey, snow and water skiing, camping, fishing, boating, and, of course, going to concerts! It’s always awesome to see bands live!

  • Favorite sports teams: Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Cincinnati Reds
  • Favorite vacation spot: Lake Powell
  • Favorite bands: Van Halen, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Phil Collins/Genesis, Def Leppard, Styx, Bon Jovi, Boston, Foreigner, ZZ Top, Loverboy, KISS

Meet Afternoon Host

Doug Donoho!

Monday-Friday  3:00pm-7:00pm

I was born a music freak! Mom & Dad had a killer record collection with everything from Hank Williams, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash & The Everly’s, to Elvis, Glen Campbell, Dolly & Conway. Then I discovered Alice Cooper in 1971, and the rest is, well, still fun fodder with my parents. “We thought we raised you better than that.” They didn’t feel the love for Alice that I did. I was just a kid, but the music changed my life.

I used to make spending money making mix tapes for my buddies. I had a killer record collection, very diverse, and became one of those guys who knows everything about music, but lacks knowledge on how to change the oil for my car!

This isn’t a job! It’s an adventure. To be able to play music, talk music, and to share with others is not a bad way to spend your day. And for the most part, there’s no dress code!

I have been lucky to meet many of the rock stars I grew up listening to and admiring from afar. Dio, Fleetwood Mac, Iron Maiden, and Scorpions, to name a few.
